A bit of a :censored: idea isn't it? How much do they genuinely think they'll make from that?

Isn't Ryanair the same company that's introducing using mobile phones legally on a plane? The plane has its own satellite and sends the signal wherever it needs to go for x amount per minute. This (I would of thought) would be costing them quite a bit to setup.

I don't suppose they expect to make much money from the toilet idea but given that most Ryanair flights are short I suspect that if they can stop people using the toilets then they save money (they presumably have to empty the toilets at the airport and pay for that to be done; any saving of time or money will be worthwhile to them)

Fitting the satellite receiver etc will cost quite a bit but that will really bring in money - I can see an awful lot of people will make calls on a plane just because they can, even if it costs (say) £5 per minute!

Ryanair is a profitable company because they use every means they can to get every last penny out of their customers. If you don't like the way they work then just don't use them!

Seats ? .... who needs them for a 30 minute trip to ireland, Ill stand thanks !.

Imagine standing whilst the plane took off! Could get problematic if someone really big landed on you :D And as for the food, I agree. Looks like cardboard and tastes really bland!

Very true, I absolutely agree. I don't actually think I have used them before... I wonder what happens if you're desperate and have no money? I just think it would/could create problems.

i can see there being a lot of round objects resembling pound coins found in the coin pots at the end of the day. Church roofs are gonna be missing a lot of lead i think

Coin detectors are smarter than that...

RyanAir offer flights at a fraction of the cost of other air agencies... and all you guys are ripping the fact that you may have to spend £1 to use the toilet?

Don't like it, don't use Ryanair, it'll be far more expensive though.

alternatively i can see people leaving the door ajar or queuing up one after another so the first person pays a quid and the whole family go for the price of one. i'd like to see how they police that

While on my return flight from Fuerteventura (£15 each btw) people were complaining that after being last in the line to get on the plane there were no seats together!

I mean come on, if you payed £200 you would have every right to sit together but for £15 sit down and shut up.

Now its a cheap flight I know but there has to be a line drawn somewhere, i think free use of the toilet is a given, think about its uses not just for 1's and 2's but air sickness and (maybe) other medical needs.

Lol you could be really cruel and book a large party of say elderly men with prostate trouble or ladies with icontinence on to a long flight and only give them 50p pieces...
