Mike Hunt would have to be the chart topper, I always remember one of the competitors in the game Carmageddon was called that and it came up across the bottom of the screen "Mike Hunt is chasing you down!"

I went to school with a guy called Neil Ling. Everyday at registration the teacher would call out 'Neil Ling' and all us kids would shout back 'sitting, standing, lying'! Looking back on it we were horrible to him.....god aren't kids cruel!?!

I've got tickets to go see them here on the 24th March.

 

It's going to be a surreal experience as I last saw them perform in 1981 I think it was. We're all old g!ts now.

I know what you mean, although I did get to see them 4 years ago on their Guitar and Drum tour. The most surreal part of that was that Bruce Foxton, aka of The Jam, was playing lead guitar for them...and for the pedants amongst us, yes I did say lead guitar and not bass.

 

We'll have to see how many others here are fans and start our own social group!!

There used to be a weatherman in one of the ITV regions called Michael Hunt who apparently took great pains to make it clear that he shouldn't be introduced as Mike.

Yeah, Bruce jumped ship from SLF in 2006. It was nice to see him working with Rick again afterwards in 2007. I wonder if there will ever be a full Jam reunion? Doubt it though as Weller is too far stuck up his own behind to do it.

Hehe my dad used to work as a mechanic and at his place they had a guy called mike hunt, the poor lass on the front desk used to have to shout him over the tannoy to answer phonecalls etc. as you can imagine she had to be very carfeful and got loads of gip off the lads =D
