At first I was only getting ~ 10mb.

Sorry to hijackthis thread a bit but what things can I do to improve the speed - if anything - I have not updated my routers firmware as not to sure on which firmware to update it with - can post back with router model and hard ware revision later as I cant remember it off the top of my head.

We've got a fibre line running into our comms room at work, but we only pay for a guaranteed 8mb service - runs around the 32mb mark constantly though.

I still don't have a final result The highest I saw my down speed hit was 47... the furthest it go in the download test was 82% Al hail Orange Broadband!

Your DSL connection rate: 2688 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) IP profile for your line is - 2000 kbps Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 1813 kbps Which is about right...
