JazzFlute Posted yesterday at 08:54 Posted yesterday at 08:54 After troubleshooting internet issues all morning, RM have now released the update below. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? It seems to be affecting only certain schools. We have one site working perfectly with the same settings, while another site with an identical configuration is having issues. Just trying to establish whether this is a wider problem or something specific to individual schools.

Hopefully ISP DNS or filtering nukes ECH, but I too use quad9 everywhere outside of education, and have been for a long while purely because its clean!
Mr.Ben Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Just jumping in here to say we use the NCSC's Protective DNS Service. It's free for schools.

Outside of Education, I have found Rethink DNS https://rethinkdns.com/ "interesting" on my Chinese Android phones.
NetworkDirector Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Easy solution, use Cloud flare DNS or even host your own. Free aswell

Thing is, if you use RM as an ISP, you often can't use another DNS as the firewall is normally configured to block them (and they already have the pDNS configured on their side) If you have access to the managed firewall you can open up alternative DNS, but if your using their web filtering provision, then that might break.
