Appart from yours come from you and probably don't have the tonne of Bett bumph in the pack.
EduTech Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Yh was also wondering what is the difference between a Visitors one and the one you order online? But i will be coming down to BETT 09 cant wait
russdev Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Awwwww...It's NOT FAIR I wanna be at BETT 2009 But they won't let me, and even if they did I would have to pay the train fare etc myself. Just say it is cpd then they really cant refuse unless they refuse to send teachers on any courses.. Russ

Ric_ Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 Book the train fair really early and it should be not too badly priced and you could go on the Saturday, I know its a non-work day but it would be good to have you there Witch The thing is, you can easily make it all about work. Speak to the teachers and find out what they would like to do with ICT. Then pick up a shed load of brochures for the teachers and you with time to chat to us and your work is doen. Then you come out with us in the evening... I find some unsuspecting account manager with an expense account (cheers Gav!) and all is well
Joedetic Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 rofl. Gav was good with the expense account in Preston!
Ric_ Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 rofl. Gav was good with the expense account in Preston! The steak in London was good... his boss was there though to be fair. Smoothwall are great to us... they understand the financial limitations of education and will bend over backwards. Saying that, NEDAP are great too (at least they are to me) and I will be speaking to some other companies soon about BETT. I know that none of us can actually accept this generousity but the fact that the companies offer means that we will remember them
Joedetic Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 I'm still hoping I'll be able to make it down to BETT. It was mentioned that it would be a good idea so we'll see...
witch Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 It would be nice but I have been unable to convince either school I work with that they need anything - prob is that the schools are both small and havent really got anything ICT-wise in the pipeline. Thanks for wanting me there - couldn't stay to go out though as I would have to go home. Sat is definitely an idea. However, I am resolved to have another go - one school is developing a VLE with the new ICT teacher - maybe he and I could go. I would love to meet you all - might be best if I stay anonymous though - I'd hate to disappoint!!
john Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 oh yh! i miss Gav's peice of plastic I have a good piece of plastic, shame its maxed out and I get the bill Hey Ho Can't wait for Bett this year should be good
DarrenC Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Hi all, Just to add to the original generous offer of free pizza, we have a stand very near to the edugeek stand (we're at stand G109), and if you make yourself known to me at the show I will make sure you get a great goody bag with all sorts of freebies in it. If you go to the extreme and wear one of our ultra stylish t shirts at the show you will go into a draw for a free prize (I have yet to decide what this will be but last year we gave away some 15" LCD televisions and one 37" LCD). 3
