Shame that, I was planning to play with the twitter API to set up a quick a dirty "some pillock's unplugged the server and it's on UPS" notification system.

I gather most of Europe has been using a +44 number, one which purports to be UK number but turns out to be in the Isle of Man, so when you text it you get charged rather than it coming out of your free text allowance.

I claimed that it was a good point of contact for other "geeks" around the country. Unfortunately, it "contravenes our filtering policy (RM filtering policy) and therefore remains filtered". Rubbish. Still, I update via text so it's not too bad.
