Hi Everyone,

Newly appointed Network Manager taking over an RM school.

Trying to find a simple alternative to the RM Unify landing page as I get the impression staff like to have all there most used/visited sites etc on a main landing page when they open the browser.

Just wondering if anyone has created anything similar or knows of any alternatives out there.

Thanks for your help!

Google Sites is a good suggestion for something to throw together.

IME staff tend to prefer to have the browser just resume whatever tabs were open when the browser was last closed, so be sure to allow them that option, too.

We're a Office 365 school / Trust and so we used a site(s) in Sharepoint and made it the home page in the browser for staff... the site homepage had all the links for staff as icons... We tried to persuade them to use bookmarks etc, but they all like the icons to click. We used to use a different site for Students, but now they have office.com as their landing page.

We've gone the SharePoint "page of links" for staff homepage. Before that we had a homemade HTML page with a simple table to organise the staff links.

Same as Rob_D. Used to have a custom HTML page on an internal IIS server. Now we just use the Sharepoint default site as an external landing page with links to other 'hubs' displayed based on permissions or user groups. On site users are directed to the hub appropriate to them.
