It's been what seems like forever since we did a competition for all you fine people. I've put together a good one for you to make up for it! So most of you will know by now that the Bett Show this year has been put back until March. Some of you will know that for once, I'll be missing out on the fun and staying home - My Wife and & are expecting our third child (Gluttons for punishment? Yes, yes we are!) and despite falling Covid rates, it's not safe for me to work at Bett and risk bringing it home with me! But... I couldn't just not attend without leaving you something to remember me by. Oh no! So here's how it's going to go: I'm going to provide you with various mug shots of my own fair face over the next two weeks. I want as many of you as possible to photoshop said face onto all manner of entertaining (yet socially acceptable) figures and situations. Post your creations as replied to this very thread. The best bit of work will be chosen by myself and will be turned into a life-size cardboard cutout which will take pride of place on our stand at the Bett Show in March (Stand SB41). Absolutely anyone can submit an image to be considered for the show. But, if you want to win one of the three prizes I've got up for grabs then you'll need also PM or email me with your professional contact details and I'll enter you into the prize draw to be held at the end of the competition. Speaking of prizes. The first name out of the hat on Draw-day will receive a nifty little HP Elitebook 820 G3. This 12.5" notebook packs a Core i7 CPU, 8GB DDR4 and 256GB NVME SSD! Two runners-up will also receive at beefy 512GB 2280 NVMe SSD! So what are you all waiting for eh? Ah, mug shots. Yes! Here you are. Do your (socially acceptable) worst!! Quick note on image quality... A 180cm tall cardboard cut out requires a fairly hefty resolution to print out clearly. If at all possible, try and use nice, big files. However, bear in mind that I want to comission a life-sized cardboard cut out using the winning entry. That means the potential winners will very much be determined by how much of a full human-sized figure they contain.
