localzuk Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 What do you all use for the printing of your IDs? Software wise. I currently use Adobe Illustrator, which is not ideal... I'd like a simple database I can give control of to someone else, and allow them to print IDs without my input. Suggestions?

The video below seems to allow you to select the surname only, you could either use an unused live content field to store the title or create multiple templates

Sanchez Posted September 3, 2021 Posted September 3, 2021 I use a publisher mail merge document with a spreadsheet backend. Gives us freedom to do whatever we what with the design and data. Using a live data stream from bromcom to keep the data updated.

FragglePete Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Use Illustrator to create the base layer of the badge,and then use Indesign to pull in the names and photos from a .csv file. For the first batch I create a pdf file of the badges and send that to the badge printer. Extra badges we just add the details to the csv file and print ad necessary. Not ideal but works for us. Pete
