When I was 17 I went to Canada and worked ona farm for a few weeks

They had a car like that

and a tractor

 

I drove the tractor a few miles down the road with a wheat wagon behind it a few time

AT one point I had to approach a main road and turn left onto it - had to time it so I arrived at the road when there was a gap as there was no way I could stop the thing

 

When I got to the grain depot the farmer (who we knew) would be waiting on a small slope so I could stop and he could chuck a rock behind the wheel

 

I was male and 17 and it seemed fine to me at the time!!!

Tree falls across car. When sawn off the root, the root pings back towards vertical. Perhaps too early to blame the Brigade.

Yes I realised that, but then it's not amusing . Indeed you can find YouTube clips where tree surgeons use the stump as a launcher, and some don't turn out too well, especially when there is water nearby.
