Shortcuts on RM CC4 desktop

Hi Folks

I have a RM CC4 network here and I would like to place a couple of shortcuts on the desktop. Has anyone managed to find a workaround for this?

I just wouldn't, find another way to achieve what you want. We've always told staff that it can't be done, it can but it's a pain because the shortcuts get picked up by staff accounts and buried in roaming profiles. The problem then comes when someone wants to change the shortcut and you have stupid amounts of hassle trying to kill off the old one.

i agree your better off putting the shortcuts into a program set, next thing staff will be wanting to save to the desktop...

Yes just get them to pin to taskbar. Desktop offers no right click functionality either.

Dump a copy of all the shortcuts into shared folder and distribute that way.
