I still think an original pixel for less then £200 will give you a great picture.

Nokia 8 is currently half price on Amazon, from £500 to only £260 (cheaper than the Nokia 7, which is daft). Pure Android, guaranteed & fast updates, 64GB storage + microSD slot. Dual cameras on the back; probably not the greatest, but nothing under £300 will be, tbh. Camera quality seems to be the big differentiator these days.

don't confuse the nokia 7 with the 7.1 totally different phones same as the 8 and 8.1 im in the same boat looking for my next phone but not sure what to get
