That information is not part of EWP, it’s being sent out via the Printer driver itself.

 

Look at the font used to print it, it’s different to that of EWP.

 

Is the printer a local USB or networked one? Reason I ask is to use a different printer just to prove the point.

 

If you use MFP printers like Ricoh, then they use features like compulsory security stamping. Which would need to be turned off in the admin settings of each individual MFP.

Hi

 

Yes we use Impero. We are printing this to our Secure staff copier. I have never seen it before on any other prints so it is a bit weird. Thanks for your help I will have a look at Impero first.

Sorry another question! Is it possible to completely disable the candidate info screen? We do not want any of the information printed and the exam officer wants it to be able to print at the end of the exam quickly without entering all of that information.

I believe that there were separate ExamWritePad threads running for queries and announcement of newly released versions, but it looks like the threads have been merged.

ADDED: Full debugging/Error handling is now in place on all subroutines and functions. All errors are now caught and logged if you set “DebugApplication” = 1, in the config file. This will allow you to email over the HTML log file (stored in the logged-in user’s TEMP folder) to us so we can help you better in future.

 

FIXED: CIE coversheet had overlapping syllabus code and component code if the syllabus code was 6 characters long.

 

FIXED: CIE coversheet had reference to “Select Here” dropdown list (used in the original word doc file as supplied by CIE) for invigilators job title, this has been removed so it can be hand written in as per previous years.

 

FIXED: DefaultOpenPath was not set correctly to the users desktop when left blank in the config file.

 

FIXED: Error on FirstRunTasks when setting up page layout options.

Someone on here requested a “Force Save” feature where by when the prompt appears to save they cannot cancel it or deviate away from it.

 

This has been implemented in version 2.4.5.0 along with a few other things.... :-)

What a great program! Thanks - just one thing about the Form 4 coversheet. When I fill in the Unit/component option on the cover sheet, the program prints in in the Specification/Entry code box instead. Thanks

Quite right yes it does and I think they must have changed there form 4 from last year and I didn’t see it.

 

I will be releasing a new version today ready for the start of most summer exams next week, I will included separate boxes for entry code to exiting unit code box.

For those new to EWP, please remember that the Centre Name field cannot be filled in via the candidate information window, it has to be set in the config file. This was done for a reason.

Yes I can do it but not by 10th June, as I’m on holiday for two weeks.

 

Actually you are the very first person to ask for these features. Tables, no problem, to what level of functionality I’m not sure.

 

With regards inserting images, surely inserting an image is a form of cheating unless the image is drawn during the exam by a paint package.

 

Would love to have your thoughts on this and which exam you would need this for?
