We will be down at BETT again, similar stand position to the last few years, C61. We wil have Ruckus, Palo Alto Networks and our integrated IP building security solutions - Netgenium - IP speakers and lockdown alerts, Mobotix -IP-CCTV, CEM - Access Control and Aperio - Wireless lock technology on our stand. It will be great to welcome all Edugeekers again. I am hoping to have some form of competition running as well

We look forward to seeing you there. Should we gain permission the Net-Ctrl balloon will also be returning, so hopefully you'll just have to look up and out for that :)

Not a clue if I will go or not - Not in education any more, so who knows! I do work in London, not too far from Excel, so can always meet any edugeekers for a drink in the evening!

I'm going up on the Saturday. Getting into London at about 06.30. Going to look at somewhere to have breakfast near to Bett.

We grab brekkie at the Minories pub right underneath the Tower Gateway DLR station that will take you directly to ExCel.

It's very reasonable there too. We are usually in from 8am to 9am, feel free to join us :)

Saturday breakfasts at Bett are amusing.

Topics discussed before the show usually consist of the following:

  • My feet hurt
  • Where has my voice gone?
  • Can I sit down for the day?
  • There's not enough time for the amount of coffee I require
  • Did I tell you about my feet?

It's almost a tradition now :)

I’m stopping just next to ExCeL this year but might come over to grab a bite.

Just signed up for Thursday. Last time I went you had to print off an ID badge, which a lot of us on here then pimped out with our Edugeek Avatar, the email I've just received makes no mention of a badge. Are they no longer needed?

UPDATE - finally got the badge email... :getmecoat:

Isn't there usually a sweepstake to when @ZeroHour will show his face and demand some Malk? ;)

As it happens, I’m off work on the Friday and in London with not much to do. Tempted to register just to come say hi/grab some freebies!

Isn't that the whole point anyway????

As I'm not going to be at BETT on behalf of work, I've decided to assume a pseudonym to protect myself from unwanted sales calls. :peep:

(I'll be good and have a real badge made for the suppliers I do work with though, and any I do think might be of interest, I'm not totally cruel!)
