jpfonseka Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Hi, i need to build 2 classrooms with 14 computers each, 13 for students and 1 for the teacher. I'm testing in LAB enviroment the netsupport school and it's nice but it's a little expensive... What other classroom management software do you recommend that are as good as netsupport but more cheap? Best regards
Matt_NetSupport Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Hi jpfonseka, I work for NetSupport, if you like the product and price is the barrier PM me I am sure I can help you. Matt Jones
mikeprice Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 AB Tutor?? used to be cheap but price has rised a lot since I last used it - still cheaper I think
3s-gtech Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 AB still works out pretty cheap, it's not subscription based and the management station licenses drop in price once you have more than 8. Just upgraded our v7 to v8 and added a station. Good phone support too. We've been using it since 2006, functionality and stability has come on well. Had one issue a few years back when I tried to upgrade too many clients at once and had to re-image them to fix, but that's it.
JonThompson Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 +1 for AB. You only pay for the Tutor licence, the clients are free. The more you buy the cheaper they become, and you can now get a site licence for it. Oh and it's Perpetual, so you get free updates for the life of that version, after that you can carry on using it without updates or support or pay to upgrade to the latest version. We've been using it since version 3 when it was ran by Andy Bray, and now on version 8.
Al_NetSupport Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 I've sent you a PM too. Bear in mind you can now get NetSupport School included within NetSupport DNA too and we are always doing low cost deals for edugeek members. Most of you know we will always work with you to ensure price is not the barrier so hopefully we can make it fit the budget for you Al

Bought School and DNA for a school in our MAT to rid my life of Impero. Got a great price. Then enquired about the Service Desk and got a great MAT cost [emoji106] A god amongst men you are Al [emoji57] 1
mikeprice Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 and of course Italc is free but limited and I've never got it to work - but that is just me 1
fredbayker Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 (edited) Latest version works! Mostly. Edited June 4, 2017 by fredbayker
round2it Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 lanschool here does the trick quite cheap especially if you ask for migration pricing
GuyJD Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 I use iTalc here, for a freebee it's good but it's far from perfect.
LanSchoolUK_Adam Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Hi jpfonseka, I'm sure we can help you out here - just dropped you a PM. Adam
