Where do you get the drive file stream app from? I've signed up to the EAP program...

The e-mail titled "Welcome to the Google Drive File Stream Early Adopter Program" will have the links.

You can also get them here...

Windows: https://dl.google.com/drive-file-stream/googledrivefilestream.exe
Mac: https://dl.google.com/drive-file-stream/googledrivefilestream.dmg

I'm on this now :D

1EB, now there's a challenge to try and fill if I ever saw one!

Already on it. Have spent the last 3 weeks downloading all of our encrypted Veeam backups to my One drive. 15Tb and counting. Doesn't even register on the Richter scale!

I presume you need to be enrolled through EAP? IE you can't just download the application from the link above and start using it.

Ah, but that has to be a query consisting of only two words without quotation or speach marks. ;) Doubt there are any of them left these days.

Yeah, I saw that when I posted the link but thought I'd post it anyway because it is funny!

Turns out it's because I was using an alias domain, before I arrived someone had signed up to GSuite not using our .sch.uk domain, so I'd added an alias.

How have people deployed this to their networks? My boss is wanting to trial this on our network (even though it is still in early access). I've created a batch file in the hope of deploying it across network using SCCM but I get a 0x80040c01 error code when running the bat file. Is there an offline installer?

Is there an offline installer?

Unlikely. Google like to point installers back to their own website, so you always get the latest version.

That said, they often download an MSI file to a temp folder, so you could try and capture that. I've used that method with other online installers before now.

They have provided them for things like Drive File Sync, Chrome and the Outlook Connector. I should image you will be able to get them for this when it is released.

I've been using this for a month or so and am very impressed. I'm having issues though getting it to work through a Proxy PAC file, it works fine with the manual proxy settings but throws a proxy error up when I try to use the PAC file. Anyone had similar issues?

Had some issues with not being able to find free certain drive letters and has the 1703 (with secureboot) been fixed yet?

Got an email this very evening from Google. The latest version supports secureboot.
