Dos_Box Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 4. is Sublogic, FS1, (I thought 2 was too). Yup, on the Apple II that one.
Dos_Box Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 1. Flight Sim II? 2. Aviator 3. Elite 4. Flight Sim 1 5. Star Wars - The Arcade Game Not sure on the next two yet. Number 1 is wrong and TBH, I thought that would have been an easy one! Not strictly a flight sim that one either and it was very fast at teh time too. I'll give you a clue: Cheese!
GrumbleDook Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Number 1 is wrong and TBH, I thought that would have been an easy one! Not strictly a flight sim that one either and it was very fast at teh time too. I'll give you a clue: Cheese! A Grand Day Out with Wallace and Grommit ... no?
Dos_Box Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 A Grand Day Out with Wallace and Grommit ... no? Hah! But nope. The game was a huge hit in the mid-80's and featured on many platforms.
localzuk Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 A bunch of Mac games and toys to guess for you... These were my childhood. Games Toys
Garacesh Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 (edited) I remember having this game on a floppy disk back-in-the-day! Probably an easy one. Edit: renamed file. Edited May 9, 2017 by Garacesh
synaesthesia Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Nnnngh it looks so familar (first one). If it looks as familiar as it does I'd say Atari. The only similar games my brain can let me remember are tank commander and stunt bike/stunt bmx and it's neither of those!
Dos_Box Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 OK, I'll close mine: 1. Mercenary 2. Aviator 3. Elite 4. Flight Simulator 1 5. Star Wars 6. Starion 7. Starglider BTW, the Cheese was a very fast ship in the game which could not only get you from a to b in the city but also take you to special places above the surface.
sted Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Number 1 is wrong and TBH, I thought that would have been an easy one! Not strictly a flight sim that one either and it was very fast at teh time too. I'll give you a clue: Cheese! its not carrier command is it?
Garacesh Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 I remember having this game on a floppy disk back-in-the-day! Chips Challenge Aye, that's the one. Figured someone would get it straight away
3s-gtech Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 OK, I'll close mine: 1. Mercenary 2. Aviator 3. Elite 4. Flight Simulator 1 5. Star Wars 6. Starion 7. Starglider Mercenary doesn't even really ring a bell - for shame!
Dos_Box Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 Mercenary doesn't even really ring a bell - for shame! For shame indeed!! It was a HUGE game at the time.
synaesthesia Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 I dont recall seeing that on ST, only on the 8bits.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 its not carrier command is it? One of the finest, hardest, and most underrated games ever made. Boy did you need a lot of time to play it!
