Dos_Box Posted February 9, 2017 Author Posted February 9, 2017 Bit too young to remember it but I have seen one of these plugged into some kind of external wireless card Nope, but you can see a bit of the device it connect to/from in the bottom right hand corner of the pic.
Dos_Box Posted February 9, 2017 Author Posted February 9, 2017 One more guess and I'll put you out of your misery (and some of you will kick yourselves for not getting it!)

sted Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Love it. Back when almost everyones phone handset was the same shape! diddnt you HAVE to rent them from bt at that point so bar the colour and being table/wall mount they were the same?
GuyJD Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 diddnt you HAVE to rent them from bt at that point so bar the colour and being table/wall mount they were the same?Everything was rented back then, I didn't know anyone that actually owned their telly, they were all rented, my Nan's TV even had a coin slot that you had to feed when you wanted to watch something.

I think with BT (back in the day), only BABT-approved stuff was legal to connect to the phone network, and the only BABT-approved stuff available had to be rented from BT. We had a Trimphone. It was awful.
3s-gtech Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Not too difficult for some of you lot, I haven't recognised much yet:
