Garacesh Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 (edited) Screenshots have leaked which apparently show the new Sonic Screwdriver. (Not posting them for people that want to avoid spoilers) To be clear: They show Jodie holding a device that lights up at the end, there's no actual confirmation that it's the 'driver itself*. There's also a 52 second scene that's been leaked, which again, I shan't be posting or going into detail over. * It might be in the leaked scene, I haven't actually watched it. Comments on Reddit allude to the leaked scene not actually spoiling anything, and more giving us a taste of the 'tone' of the new Doctor. Edited June 26, 2018 by Garacesh
6Foot2 Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Link: BBC Latest News - Doctor Who - New series of Doctor Who to be scored by composer Segun Akinola Launching this autumn on BBC One, the highly anticipated new series of Doctor Who will be scored by burgeoning composer Segun Akinola. The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire alumni will provide an exciting and emotional score beckoning in a new era for the show, including a fresh take on the legendary theme tune... Fresh take... Hmm.
Garacesh Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I don't see that as much of an issue. As long as the core melody stays intact, they can change the accompanying instruments all they like.

6Foot2 Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Are you sure about that? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7O8BLs0eEI Point well made. Now I hope I can eventually forget that performance.
ITGuyNW Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Yeah the scene is legit, you can find it easily on Twitter. Oh well. The entire of Ecclestones first ep leaked a week before it was on TV so not quite as bad as that. Screenshots have leaked which apparently show the new Sonic Screwdriver. ICTDirect_Dave Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 The entire of Ecclestones first ep leaked a week before it was on TV so not quite as bad as that. Pretty sure the BBC did that on purpose to generate some publicity too.
Garacesh Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Very much so, this leak feels too 'flawless' to be a proper leak, I suspect it's been orchestrated rather purposefully. 1
