1 hour and 10 minutes to go before the little angles go home. I'll probably be an hour or so behind them.

Our students finished last Thursday and the teachers last Friday, although a few teachers have been sneaking in. The teachers are dodging contractors who are fitting new furry strips around doors, cabling new fire alarms, fitting carpets, etc. Teachers are also dodging us in IT - we're re-stickering equipment with our new improved asset tags. We finish tomorrow and we've been told we can leave at 16:30, which is normal quitting time. :(

Students have all gone, everyone is expected to stay and some of us have been earmarked for safeguarding training, tomorrow is a training day and we finish at 1-30pm on Friday. Merry Christmas everyone.

Last day in work today for me pre-holidays, can't wait to finish now for the break and have a super busy January coming up with a couple of major projects coming to an end.

Just collected son from station. So we're now all home for Christmas. Daughter still has a shift to do tomorrow at work though.

Slow start here. We wake before the kids these days. :rolleyes:

 

Just about to have our Christmas morning brunch before going out for a walk in the sun while the turkey cooks :)

Happy Christmas everyone. Up early and had the horses turned out by 8am before breakfast with OH's family at 10am. Now sat chilling catching up with The Grand Tour until my daughter turns up for dinner about 6ish.

 

Best present so far? Tim Peake's book.
