I can appreciate what people are saying. It does look daft, but so long as it tastes the same, who's really fussed about the shape? It all does down the same way.

That is so not the point. Toblerone is supposed to be impossible to snap for a start!

It does. They've dropped the weight by 10% (though it looks more like they've cut out every 2nd triangle, so more like 30-40%!) citing increased cost of ingredients. It's either use less ingredients and keep the price the same, or keep the bar the same and increase its price, they say.

Rubbish - they have all been reducing the amount of Choccy in bars for a while

 

Hence the nice curvy Dairy Milk - the curves use less Chocolate that taking it all the way to the corner

Also the new varieties with stuff in them (like biscuits etc) - means less chocolate

Warning eating 4.5kg of toblerone probably isnt good for you and you would have to make a refrigeration exception for it (ie dont refrigerate it like you should with basically all chocolate) or you wont just break teeth you will break jaws lol

I can literally eat a whole full size mars bar in one bite. I know I've gotten older and uglier but my mouth hasn't gotten any bigger. I know prices are always rising and can remember buying a Mars Bar for 20 pence, but I'd rather pay more and get the same than pay more and also get less!

That's a disturbing discovery. I don't like Toblerone, but chocolate orange is a Christmas favourite.

It looks stupid to the point where I would rather see the price rise to keep it the same.

 

It doesn't have anything to do with brexit really, Mondelez/Kraft have been consistently doing this since they took over Cadbury in the UK, upping prices, fiddling with recipes and dropping amounts, they have shrunk most products they sell now and fiddled with recipes to the point where I don't eat it these days as it seems now to set off some weird sensitivity reaction with my teeth when I try some of the Dairy Milk bars. Strange as other chocolate brands don't seem to do this it my teeth.

Omg cannot believe this!! such a stingy thing to do, they've gone from to 175g to 157g apparently Bloody faceless Kraft ruining the British classics!!
