X-13 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Or divide it... riots in the streets, people walking around with banners or articuno, storm the borders trying to take other countries gyms! There's a gym in the DMZ between North and South Korea. It could solve the problem.

arwen Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I've ran out of pokeballs :-/ Also, I now have enough candy to evolve an eevee, not sure I want to though!
Domo Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I've ran out of pokeballs :-/ Also, I now have enough candy to evolve an eevee, not sure I want to though! I don't understand how people are running out of pokeballs I have like 150 of them + great balls as well, my bag is full also... I've just evlolved my first Eevee into a Vaporeon
JJonas Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I've ran out of pokeballs :-/ Also, I now have enough candy to evolve an eevee, not sure I want to though! Go to a Pokestop and spin the disc
dry Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I've ran out of pokeballs :-/ I normally walk past 5 Pokestops during lunchtime so no Pokeball worries for me! Mwah Seems like every charity shop/church/park/university is a Pokestop around here

Ok, how am I supposed to dodge, when the server lags and half the swipe is ignored? Seriously, 3 buttons. Attack 1, attack 2, dodge. It's not Team Rocket science.

That or there would be a breakaway group, North Korea, South Korea.... Central Korea! Also known as Articuno, Zapdos & Moltress. I got out on my lunch break, visited some pokedex places as I have never done that before, luckily there is about 4 all within 100 feet of the shop I went too, put my phone and the app on battery saver mode, went from 93% to 2% in half hour, tried to turn the brightness down but was so sunny I couldn't see without it turned up to max. As nice as it is being out of the office for half hour, taking my lunch without interruptions and seeing my town at a nice gentle pace. I cant see the game keeping my interest that long all the time the battery sucks on my phone.

arwen Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I've ran out cause there is only one pokestop near where I work, and none near home. But loads of pokemon at my work! I'll need to go out tonight purely for pokestops I think.

dry Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I think they reset after a couple of minutes, you could just chill and farm it for a bit. I've heard it's ten minutes. Have a friend who worked on trolleys at a local supermarket that has 3 Pokestops in the vicinity yesterday. By the time he'd done a lap of the perimeter, the Pokestops were available again, so the jammy wotsit got hundreds last night!

Garacesh Posted July 12, 2016 Author Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) Apparently (as I haven't tried it yet) you can pick up a pokéball that missed by tapping on it before it disappears. Can't confirm though. Edited July 12, 2016 by Garacesh

Geoff Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I got my first Magnemite and Krabby on my Lunch break today. Also bumped into some other players who had put a lure on a pokestop.
Joanne Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Went out earlier and got a pidgey But a load of pokeballs

One of the care takers complained that he bought his friends son here yesterday, but they was bitterly disappointed that there are no Pokemon on our site.
Geoff Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I'm a veteran Ingress player, so there's plenty of portals and pokemon around where I live and work. Mainly because I submitted most of the portals, and the foot traffic is as a result of the Ingress portal density (My theory is that pokemon spawn where there's a lot of human traffic, Ingress playing obviously spikes this).
haldarulon Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Just saw a spawn point (forgot the name) but it had hearts around it... about 10 people standing there... but i had to get back to the office... what did i miss? and how do i replicate it?
Duranis Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) My theory is that pokemon spawn where there's a lot of human traffic, Ingress playing obviously spikes this). That might make sense. Walking along the seafront there where lots of stops but few pokemon and there are very few near where we live. However walking through town there was loads of them, sometimes as many as 3 on one screen at a time. Just saw a spawn point (forgot the name) but it had hearts around it... about 10 people standing there... but i had to get back to the office... what did i miss? and how do i replicate it? Think that is when someone uses a lure on a stop. It increases the amount of pokemon that show up nearby for all players. I tried incense last night while at home (not walking about) which I thought would bring pokemon to me. It didn't seem to do anything at all. Edited July 12, 2016 by Duranis

Not hearts, but cherry blossoms (presumably based upon the Sweet Scent move).. Occurs when somebody attaches a Lure to a PokéStop. Attracts wild Pokémon to the area. I tried incense last night while at home (not walking about) which I thought would bring pokemon to me. It didn't seem to do anything at all. I don't think the game does anything whilst you're stationary, to promote people actually walking around and not 'afking'
Geoff Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Incense yourself next to a pokestop with a lure is the best way.

Yeah when I went to the shop near the town earlier there was about 5 or 6 pokedex stops in the screen view at once, however near my house only the pub and a church are pokedex stops, although my phone died when I got near to there so I can be sure there wasnt others I missed yesterday.
DJ-1701 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 @Boredguy pointed this out to me... Windows Phone users beg Pokémon Go creators for attention ? The Register I think I will just save the disappointment and get a new phone.
