Greg Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 The SIMS & Discover Summer 2016 Release 7.170 is now out. Have fun all...
SouthCoastSaint Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Like these features - one of those that seems so simple but makes a big difference! An Export button has been provided on the Student Assessment Results Detail page, enabling the data to be exported to Microsoft Excel. The Student Assessment Results Detail page is accessible by clicking the Assessment link in the Links panel on the right-hand side of the Student Details page. Ability to Export Examination Results to Excel from the Student Links panel Focus | Student | Student Details An Export button has been provided on the Student Examination Results Detail page, enabling the data to be exported to Microsoft Excel. dry Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Has anyone applied the update yet? Yep, we've applied the update here. Not had any moans yet but we're only a few hours in.
Liam Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 I have applied it but apparently when we loaded assessment it should have triggered a ampark import and it's not. Any ideas?
SouthCoastSaint Posted July 9, 2016 Posted July 9, 2016 Try opening a template, that might prompt the Ampark process to begin.
Liam Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 That didn't work. It says it should be in the c drive but the files in there are old! It's weird.
DrCheese Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Does this fix the issue with Excel 2013/2016 & crashing out when running a report?
Meldrew Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 That didn't work. It says it should be in the c drive but the files in there are old! It's weird. Have you tried exporting the upgrade, then running SIMSAMPARKSetup.exe on the machines you need it on. Meldrew
SouthCoastSaint Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I have just received an email from Capita saying: As per our recent communication advising the SIMS 7.170 and FMS 6.170 Summer 2016 Release is now available for you, I wanted to remind you that in order for this be made available to you on SOLUS3, you need to log a case to the SIMS Support Desk, providing your school name and DfE number and/or school postcode. We always use Solus3 and to my knowledge we download it - I don't recall ever logging a case. Is this a new thing? Surely we all need the upgrade so why wouldn't it be available to all?
Jehanzeb Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Applied and working. The SIMS Support team suggested to update the reporting but we're not sure how to do this. Any ideas will be highly appreciative. Kindest regards J
