Only on training data. Having problems opening the CPD program in School Bulletins - it keeps saving a 0Kb file. Not sure if this is the fault of the upgrade or training data. Document Server tests OK.

Easter install for me, providing they dont recall it. Will have to dig out the SOLUS3 notes again.

I see SLG upgrade has been withdrawn already 🙈

The two areas updated that caught my eye are small but useful - looking forward to easily deleting all those ancient reports.

New Features

Changes to Report Privacy Permissions

Focus | System Manager | Manage Groups

The SIMS System Manager can now view reports that are marked as private and owned

by other users. Access to these reports can also be granted to other users so that their

ownership can be re-assigned, or for the purpose of updating or deleting the reports.

Enhancements to Report Ownership

Reports | Design Report

It is now possible to search for reports with a specific owner by clicking the Owner

folder. If you have the required permissions, you can now delete or re-assign ownership

of reports, regardless of privacy status.

Addition of Pupil Premium Option to Student List Reports

Reports | Student List | General Student List

Reports | Student List | Class List

Reports | Student List | Registration Group List

It is now possible to select Pupil Premium as an additional data field on the output of all

Student List reports.

We've got a training day coming up on the 24th, so if it doesn't get pulled before then, that's when I'll go for it.

I notice the SLG Spring release lasted about an hour before being pulled. Ha.

Hi,

Just for clarity, we have pulled the 'Self Hosted' SLG release due to versioning of the packages, we hope to resolve this and place the packages up ASAP.

We are not aware of any other issues, but will check on the CPD concern raised on this thread.

Sorry for the inconvenience

Kind regards

Nick

I have requested it to be made available as I am not going to be in for a few weeks but that might actually be a reason to hold off until after Easter and just do an out of hours upgrade when we start back. I'll see if any issue arise before Friday and make my decision then.

So my (and no doubt FSM knows how many other schools') nagging finally paid off. No longer will I have to resurrect long-retired user accounts just to delete the 93rd variation of "Geography Report Y10".

We deployed it out last night (touch wood it seems ok) will keep the thread updated if we notice anything.

Please keep us updated, I am looking to deploying this half term. :)

This allows us to deploy it, see if it works and resolve any issues with Capita before everyone comes back.

We've found a bug. If searching for students from the homepage and a similar student is listed under Focus - Admission - Application with withdrawal status then the program crashes out.

Capita have been able to replicate this on their test data, so we are now waiting for a patch.

Any news on this bug. Nothing has been posted up about it on My Account....yet.

I posted this here, but forgot to apply to this thread.

I have just checked the case and I can confirm that it is still open and escalated to our development team.

I will keep you updated with any further progress.

Other schools have also now reported this issue, so it has been escalated as a critical issue.

My Case Reference is: 1603-3464736

A patch has been written and should be issued in the next couple of days. We have three cases of this very specific problem reported with over a thousand downloads.

Thanks Phil. Can you confirm what type of patch has been written please? Is it a Database patch or Workstation patch?
