JonThompson Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Not crashing for me. I’ve just re-installed and it does the same thing. Video plays fine, but as soon as I exit the video by closing it via the X in the top left corner, the screen goes black, the app crashes and returns me to the home screen. I can then relaunch the app fine, but it refreshes itself, as if it’s just been launched.

It literally just went out so it will probably take an hour or so for the app store to show the update. Thanks for testing all! there will no doubt be another version to test in the future so dont remove Test Flight but if you are running a beta version please upgrade to the live v7 using: http://edugeek.me/to/iosapp 1
ZeroHour Posted July 11, 2018 Author Posted July 11, 2018 A new version will be coming soon (not via Test Flight, it will be on the app store) which has a roundup of bug fixes including the Youtube video crash bug. I am testing it myself right now but since its nothing major it will probably go straight onto the app store.

If you are still on the test flight version just install the live store version over the top. Version 7.1.192 iPhone 8 iOS version 11.4.1 Issue is when I get a iOS notification from the EduGeek app when I tap on the notification to open the EduGeek app it opens on the front page rather than the thread the notification was referring to. 1

When I was experiencing this issue I had not entered m u/p recently but could log in and add posts etc but notifications were not bringing me to the notification screen in the app. However have just tried tapping a notification again and this time I was prompted for my u/p and now I am taken to the correct thread by tapping on a iOS push notification. HTH 1
