ZeroHour Posted February 8, 2018 Author Posted February 8, 2018 (edited) The beta is out! it was approved a little earlier and I just hit the button to release. You should have an email anyway from TestFlight but it should be listed to download very soon anyway in TestFlight. elsiegee40 Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 When I go into Webview I had to sign in. But when I logged into the mod panel and then closed the app then reopened it... I was still signed in to web view. (It used to sign you out) So this is an improvement [emoji4] 1

(It used to sign you out) So this is an improvement [emoji4] Yeah I think that wont last sadly, it may have been able to keep the session active but when it times out you will be signed out again, I hate cookies... 1

It’s kind of gone Office 2013 with the ribbon in all caps and everything very monochrome and flat. Personally speaking, I’m not so sure I like that. 1

Just to say there is a night mode which you may possibly prefer.

A new invention is video autoplay which has the default of “always”. That needs setting to the more data-limit friendly “wifi only” or, in my case, “never” as I will choose when or if I want videos to play thank you very much. 1
sparkeh Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Just got round to updating. Hands up, I hate change so I'm trying to get my head around it. Can anyone just explain how the numbers next to the post types work under discussion. For example in the app I have New Posts (165) Unread (485) Subscribed (999+) Participated (500) However, on the website if I look at New Posts I have 485. Where is the 165 coming from? And what is the difference between new posts and unread? If I haven't read them then aren't they new? And if they are new, then I haven't read them. So I would expect them to be the same? Or am I not 'getting it' Also if I look at participated there are lots of threads that I have posted in that aren't listed in there. If I click 'Notifications' I just get the 'Network is currently unavailable' message but the rest of the app works. However, after using it for a bit I really like the new layout. Oh and I agree that the video autoplay should at least default to wifi only, I'd be a bit miffed to find the app was auto munching through my data.
