The thanks bug should be fixed in a future update so they have been able to recreate it. I will be releasing an update in the next few days which will be a version likely to go live very soon after for all. Thanks for testing the app so far and we will have further beta versions in the future you all will get as well. Please follow the instructions when the final beta comes out so we can ensure there are no show stopping bugs. It will require a deletion or the current beta and ideally installing the current live version and logging in there first before installing the beta over the top.

Old beta uninstalled.

Old app installed from app store

Logged in and logged in to web view too

Installed new beta from test flight (Did not close app)

Started app and it immediately crashed - no messages

Tried again and it opened OK - I'm in it now

 

The most obvious thing is turning off Image Preview in settings. The old app doesn't do image preview and it's on by default in this version.

I had the same thing (except didn't log into web view). Followed the steps, opened the app and it crashed. Opened it a second time and everything marked as unread. Pulled down to refresh, and app is showing unread threads.

Ditto about the crash on iPad and iPhone. It would be handy if the image preview was off by default I think.

I've got the same problem. App shows 2 notifications, I load app and mark them as read. I then refresh the app, but the notifications still show as 2.

Aha!

 

I pounced on a notification bar (Black bar with a bell) to test a theory and used that to access what had been posted.

 

The notification count on the badge has not increased!

And the badge has mysteriously dropped to 1. Go figure!

Ok, so I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it - no notifications. Sign into the app and say NO notifications - no notifications badge.

 

If I turn notifications back on in Settings, I've now got 4 app notifications, yet when I check unread in the app, I don't have any!

Same problem as above. Crashed when installed. Restarted the app and it's been fine.

 

Only problem I got now I keel thanking posts without noticing.

 

Can I remove "thanks" on here?

The only way to remove thanks is to go into Web View for the post concerned

I am getting repeated crashes when I go into Search.

 

I tap the burger icon and within a couple of seconds it crashes before I get chance to type anything in the search box

I cleared cache and restarted and it makes no difference. I cannot search now

@ZeroHour. This version seems very buggy compared to the previous version. I've just loaded the app now and it didn't have any content. I had to refresh it for the threads to show.

This search bug is a showstopper for me. I use it all the time. If it can't be fixed quickly, I shall have to revert to the non beta version

Every time I try and search for something in the forum the app crashes?

Also noticed that the navigation bars that allow you to move between pages on a thread are not always showing at the top of pages. One minute they are there, the next they've gone. A refresh seems to sort it. The bottom ones are fine.

A fresh build is processing but I have no idea if it fixes anything yet as I am having problems loading the adhoc ipa onto my phone. Failing that I will see if we can roll back but I am not sure if its possible or not.

 

EDIT: I can finally load the latest build on my phone to test, search seems to be fixed but not notifications yet. iTunes should approve it for you all in the next day.
