Yeah thats new in 5.3.

And I've just found the thanks button. Or rather a heart. Not sure about that, it's a bit lovey dovey.

I've become a dab hand at nipping in to web view when I want to do things that are impossible or harder in the app. It's how I do a lot of moderation. I really ought to take note.

Just to expand that a bit, is there any scope for having the app display the same smilies as the web. Eg shows up as : hat : (no spaces).

 

(and that makes no sense if read in the app )

The one I showed in DaveP's post didn't show either and neither did the one I made when reporting this problem. In fact that still doesn't show.

Just cleared cache and it makes no difference

Just to say the location services problem should be fixed in the next build but I am waiting on a few others bugs to be fixed before I roll out a new version to you all.

I have not reported that bug yet, once I have the last 3 done and working I will send that in as its an annoying but not breaking issue so far.

Ok so if I tap on the thanks you gave me in the post above, and the iPad is in landscape I get the screen below. If I touch the < arrow it highlights like its been pressed but nothing happens.

If I turn the iPad to portrait I get the following layout and the < arrow takes me back to the thread

What version of ios are you using @sparkeh?

 

EDIT: I presumed it was 10 and they have been able to recreate the bug and it should hopefully be fixed soon

Notifications are annoying me.

 

I get a badge with a number in it.

I go into the app, go to notifications and work my way through those with a red blob.

When I leave the app, the badge is still there.

Go back into the app and notifications and there's no new ones.

Leave the app and the badge has gone.

I think this is an iOS 10 issue because I get the very same issue with the Outlook app on my iPhone too.

The update seems to have logged me out but I still get notifications as though I was logged in. I expect it's probably because it was an update rather than a clean install but thought I would mention it just in the event it is a bug.
