L3OUGH Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 That's what I am finding. Level 18 and the monotony is getting to me... I will agree I found some of the side quests and particularly the supplies encounters extremely repetitive however now me and a few friends on my friends list (@Garacesh included here) are all level 30, doing the daily missions and running the dark zone L32 bosses I'm finding great fun (even if I'm a relatively nooby L30). With the big free update coming next month that adds Divison's take of Destiny's raids coming, it's only set to get better. I'd say stick at it and get to 30! I'm personally really enjoying what end game has to offer despite what I've read online.
Garacesh Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) With the big free update coming next month that adds Divison's take of Destiny's raids coming Several players have experienced a bug with matchmaking where 2 parties are thrown into the same instance, perform the mission together (one team activating an objective does so for the other team, too) and are able to revive/use skills on each other. This is taken to mean there is a system in place for 8-man parties, and Incursions will utilise that. Also there's the Intrepid, docked in port. There's a gate you can glitch through to get outside of the map and go exploring, it's an 80% complete area with pedestrians, cover you can interact with (climb, vault over, etc) and whilst exploring out-of-bounds I found a resupply crate, several blue boxes labelled 'CLUE PLACEHOLDER', and had ISAC tell me there was an echo nearby. The area is littered with Last Man's Battalion flags/insignias and people are expecting this area will be included soon in one of the updates. (I'll show you the area later, if you like ) Also, one of the missions, I forget which, displays a map on the table (in a small atrium-like room where you interact with a laptop) which shows the current map, but also areas out of bounds, above the current accessible area (so, above DZ06) that are also labelled DARK ZONE (such as the area directly above Clinton), people are suspecting the map will be greatly expanded upon in the coming updates. Garacesh Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 So it turns out that Phoenix Credits are shared between all characters on an account. It also turns out that daily missions aren't. So you can level a 2nd (or 3rd, or 4th) character to Level 30, do the daily missions, and get 80*(Characters) Phoenix Credits per day. I plan on levelling another character during the Easter Holidays for the purposes of going Rogue anyway, so this is a nice thing to know

I believe the new patch has fixed matchmaking issues too. I know some people are saying the game is boring, but I think it's down to the team you are playing with, the single player mode is boring, I admit that. I'm looking forward to the Destiny update in April, since it's not going to cost me a small fortune, like the other DLC's. If Bungie charge the price of a new game for Destiny 2, they will definitely lose my custom, I've spent loads on the game already, and they don't seem to care about customer loyalty.

My first character will grind past DZ50 to buy stuff and then pass it over with no risk of losing rank I believe the new patch has fixed matchmaking issues too. Not on PC it hasn't! It was a nightmare trying to get a party for the daily Challenge mission! Me and two friends ended up three-manning it, which is no small feat, especially since yesterday's challenge had an 'Eliminate all enemies before the timer runs out' section.
