twin--turbo Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Yes, Fact is they went from a fuel injected 2.5L straight six in the TR6, to a twin carb 2.0 4 pot on the 7. Always should have been the 3.5 V8, but American legislation made it uneconomical to do until too late. There were a few 16v "Sprint" cars which were better, but not made in any number to be recognised.
cpjitservices Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Hey all, looking at getting a new car in the next few months. I was looking at an Audi A6 Avant 2.5 TDI.. BUT - I want to stick with a 7 seater really and am looking at the Toyota Previa 2.0 D-4D...Manual (2002 upwards). Anyone had one ... or know what they are like to live with ? Apparently MPG is pretty good.

I assumed they were all ear-marked for the American market.
