DJ-1701 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Ha yeah! Q, the ultimate 'get out of a hole we have dug ourselves' card. Didn't he usually dig the hole, shove them in, fill it neck high and then if he was in the mood help them out, usually when Picard shouted... 'Dammit Q!'

ICTDirect_Dave Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I'm going to reserve my judgetment until I've seen it I think. After may stop-start attempts, Simon Pegg took over the writing duties. He's a huge trek fan, massive nerd and excellent writer. I can't help but feel he'll do something really good with it.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Here's Pegg's reaction to the trailer. He knows what he's doing I'm sure 1

6Foot2 Posted May 25, 2016 Author Posted May 25, 2016 Is it just me but when I read "Star Trek Beyond" I hear Madness' "One step beyond" It wasn't happening for me, but probably will from now on. Same number of syllables. > Earworms thread.
LeMarchand Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Is it just me but when I read "Star Trek Beyond" I hear Madness' "One step beyond" I thought the Nutty Boys were more 2000AD fans.
Lonix Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 It's okay I don't see Star Trek Beyond either, I see Beyond Star Trek because it still doesn't feel like Star Trek. First one for me felt just enough but then it just seemed to walk away from what Star Trek is about and drags on.
