Printed Lanyards

So our 6th form wear ID. There is the potential to rolling this out to all students but nothing certain yet.

 

Currently they have generic STUDENT lanyards. Does anyone have school branded lanyards printed, if so, where and what is the cost difference over pre-printed?

We got branded ones, as with most custom signs/labels etc it's a one off high cost for design/making it etc.

 

Then not much difference overall for printing batches. (Obviously depends how much design you want, but for examples ours is school logo + writing every 10cm or so)

We have them, not for staff or students but to give away with prospectus at shows etc.

A friend of mine runs https://www.ukflyers.com/ . Can't see lanyards on their site, but pretty sure they do them (they do the promo stuff the Victorious Festival in Portsmouth). Might be worth giving them a ring. Having worked there for a few months they seem pretty well organised. Don't know how prices compare as I've never had to order that sort of printing.

 

Whoever you use, get someone who can spell and has a good eye for detail to proof any designs. I've seen way too many flyers (not from UKFlyers AFAIK!) where the firm has just passed designs with errors.

We have just ordered some at £1.15 each (exc VAT) if you order 500

We get ours done by Hotline Group. There is next to no price difference between text and graphics and the price only goes up by about 10p for another colour (ours are burgundy with white and yellow).

I've used these guys before. Think they offered two options, one was having them printed in the UK with a 1-2 week lead time or they could source them from china for a lot less with an 8-10 week lead time. It's been a while though so don't hold me to it! I'm sure the long lead time option was well under £1 per unit.
