That crash bug with posting the link in game is slightly odd! Should probably look at the console and send someone a bug report! Pfft, my pentagon is only small...

Mine's only a chunk in size, but there's more being built around it, farms, etc. I think EvilGrin's is a 2x2 chunk house and xalent and jedmondson are just.. building in a weird shape. lol.

TopazTJ Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Slowly getting started, I've got my little cobblestone hut and a Stone Pickaxe through Tinkers and a grindstone, very basic here - figure I need to find a good space to base myself though as local's world domination pyramid is blocking my view of the sunlight!! I did chuckle at how I can see so many people's bases zoomed out from the Dynmap and mine is almost a tiny speck haha.

Depends really what you want. If you're looking for a specific biome, you're screwed. Vast majority of the land is mooshroom biome Just find a place that looks a'ight and get settling. Just pick a spot on the map and decide "There." lol Fair enough, I'm not after anything too specific - just enough flat(ish) land to start with a basic shelter/farmland and then I can landscape further later! That'll be tonights plan along with trying to get some basic power started, was thinking a tree farm > charcoal > furnace generator, just to kick start.

I prefer building outwards and sprawling a bit, towers always seem to be more laggy to me. Plus ender IO travel anchors make it just as quick to get around.

[*]If a player expresses no interest of being part of the game, respect that. If you are found to be hiding them in other bases still, you're 'back in' and can be gotten.
