AceDaz Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Hi I was wondering what other people do for their Cashless Catering?! A lot of people seem to go for Nationwide Retail Systems, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience of NRS or any other companies. Many thanks

sonofsanta Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 NRS are pretty good, solid enough bits of kit and the software was more fully featured in the back end than Cunninghams or Gladstones (this was 2013 - I haven't seen either of those systems since then). Integrates well with FacilityCMIS & WisePay for us, and our VLE provider have a Moodle block that displays balance & transactions there as well. Client install is a bit of a pain (hooks into the local profile -_-;; ) but we've never had any major issues with it, and the tills are good.

john Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I was an NRS user in my last job and its a great system, good staff and support very helpful and took constructive criticism onboard well which is a plus. Used that with ParentPay online payments, it had its "moments" (well documented on here in past threads!) but they did get better as they went on as well

Steven_Cleaver Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 We Use NRS and Parent pay here feel these are pretty solid now although with all the systems do get the odd issues but NRS support has always been pretty and Parent pay although was poor at the start around 4 years ago it has improved. Used Cunninghams in the past and found they were are Par with NRS both reasonable systems with pretty good support.
