That was hilarious :lol:

 

Especially the ones with the women driving onto the garage pit and the one at the car park barrier.....the roll at the gates was one i'd seen before.

Its the age old argument that it's sexist, but I'm happy just to sit back and watch them go bust under their own steam

 

Can you imagine the boss going into the bank with his original business plan and trying to convince the bank manager to bankroll him for the venture of creating a car insurance company only for women

How far do you think anyone would get with, for example, Yorkie Insurance for Men - It's not for girls! They'd be sued to kingdom come in no time.

 

I can't see how they get away with it to be honest.

Presumably they'd get away with it for the same reason that Saga get away with Insurance for over 65's.....they're just another 'group' for insurance purposes....just as people who are younger than 21 won't be insured because of statistics...similarly statistics show that women are 'safer' drivers, whereas some people might translate 'safer' to mean 'hestitant' in the case of women drivers. Not me, i think it's great that women drive, it's great that mums drive their kids to school in their Q7's or X5's, and that younger career women can drive around looking sexy in their MX-5's.....great!!!!

I think you've it the nail on the head there torledo - it is exactly that, a recognisable grouping in the insurance industry. They have backed up their 'women only' policy by having independent statistics of safety of driving so it isn't just being sexist. Being sexist would be 'in order to help women get ahead, we're not going to supply to men'.

The statistics look nice on paper because women are so good at causing chaos in carparks and driving off without informing anyone :) especially around sale time, they just turn into frenzied morons

Funny thing is i watched that episode and it's no surprise that Sarah Harding pranged the Ferrari 'cos she was the 'raciest' of the lot - the others were cacking themselves, while sarah was itching to get on the track.....

 

she was very quick around the track if a little bit exuberant.

New Years invites ? You must be joking, this is EduGEEK not a Don Johnson lookalikes forum.....(although if you look like Don Johnson you'd never post on a forum, and you'd probably be out getting laid on NYE...rather than wasting tiime getting drunk at some god awful party populated with people considerably uglier than you)

 

....so that means - no friends, darkened room, three year old issue of 'cherie' under the mattress....and definitely no invites to any cool NYE parties....
