Hello, does anyone have a ballpark figure for hosted SIMS from Capita?

This is SIMS through the browser, hosted offsite.

And what about from Birmingham LA? I presume we could choose between the two.

Cheers all.

Primary £500/year for up to 10 users. Secondary £1500/year for up to 30 users. Extra seats £30/year. Runs SIMS, FMS & Discover.

Out of curiosity, is that staff users or in total? Also does it include support etc?

Thanks,

Steve

I see, those would be Capita's prices then. And another SIMS hosted service from Service Birmingham - how does this compare I wonder?

Most primary schools will have more than 10 users if you include teachers.

Unless we can use a generic "teacher" login which can then select the class group to mark. Similar with Discover.

Then we would only need the office accounts + 1 teacher account...

Go wash your mouth out with soap.

Also I think they have a min of 10 users anyway, or something. Still I guess they would rather your buy the Teachers App for the teachers, which is another £500... so that's an extra £1,000 per year to make your SIMS cloud based on top of your standard SIMS license. I suppose flipping this on it's head and turning it Capita positive, how many other MIS suppliers offer a discount for self-hosting? Or not taking the app?

Is their a demo account available - i'd be interested to see what the speed and usability is like via this platform compared to our on-premise install.

If you log a case with the Link2ICT Service Desk they will be able to arrange a non sales patter conversation....

It will come through to MIS team
