If you think it's bad now, wait till ESS have FORCED every school using a perfectly adequate, and probably cheaper, locally hosted solution on to Sims Connected. My prediction is it will die by the 2nd or 3rd LA/group of schools that they bring on.

MS Office through a browser in Firefox

Bit more info - I've just spotted they are going into Archive folder. Not sure why though. I've not done anything to them manually and can't see a rule -
I'm sure this is something daft. I've been using Outlook 365 through Firefox on Macbook Air for as long as I can remember. I've just noticed (and I think it's new) that when I reply to a message it dissapears from my Inbox I can see the conversation in Sent Items but not in my Inbox. It reappears if someone then replies to my message. Any ideas please? I've not got any rules set up and I'm not just showing Unread or anything like that.

Has anyone heard of this or had it communicated to them that it is going to happen. It basically means that instead of a user appearing in Sims ID once they've been added in System manager, or manually, all active members of staff are going to automtically appear in Sims ID

You can't use DbAttach from a workstation can you? CCS have replicated the problem now.

On my Laptop and at a school on a workstation and the server we can make a System Manager 6 backup but when going into the restore route get the following Error Warning Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server - A .NET Framework error occurred during execution of user-defined routine or aggregate "ListSIMSBackups": System.Security.SecurityException: The source was not found, but some or all event logs could not be sear Any ideas? Have a suspicion that it worked before Summer Upgrade. Have checekd and are on the correct version of .Net Framework

I'm chair of governors at a school and we would love to use POS but we need a much expanded grade set and this won't be in until 2017 at the earliest which means in all likelihood waiting until at least September 17. We need to be able to show and measure small steps of progress within a statement

The simple answer is yes. What you need to do is make sure you can create the group of data that you want in Discover. If you can do that then you set it up as a dynamic group and set in Sims itself who you want to get the alerts. We have a number of Primary schools using behaviour and Discover in this way eg: alert a Deputy Head and/or Learning Mentor when someone reaches 3 red cards. The widgets on the home page are also very good for certain alerts around behaviour.

check the date range when you pick the students. Sometimes it gets stuck with old dates. Certainly used to last time I looked at the the CCS Early Years ones
