DMcCoy Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 That woman is just like the bursar where I work and she is now my line line manager Bursar line manger how strange............ My line manager is the bursar/admin manager where I am. Although thats a good thing for me, as it helps me know if there is any extra money that can be spent or when there isn't as much as I'd like, at least I know why.
webman Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 I wouldn't mind working with someone that looked like Jen
MkII Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 The Bursar isn't my line manager because although she's paid enough to have the responsibility, she is biased towards the non acedemic network, same as te Head of IT is biased towards the Curriculum Network. I work with both of them but not under thier direction.

Sirbendy Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 I found it quite funny...the commodore PET in the background got me..and the ZX80/1 crack..we have one in the office here...was it the ZX80 that didn't have the rubber keys? Ian was about to crack it open as a display for the kids about "how computers used to be", then he realised how much they go for.. As for the PET...last time I was at Priory School, Shrewsbury, they had one in operational nick, in the maths dept. Same age as me, pretty much..I felt humbled.. As for IT being in the basement..they based that on the wakeman school then? They've moved now though-it kept flooding when the servern did.
