Sunnyknight Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Maybe. As a few of you know... my passion in life has always to be in the sky as much as possible. A pilot. Fighter or commercial. Ive been semi accepted by the best commercial training agency in the world to be a commercial pilot. Loads to be done yet, but i pray and hope all goes well. Its a dream come true if it happens, and im... not upset... but................... ah to hell with it... im a little charred to say i wont be here. Ive given the moderators a headache at times, for which ill say... it wont happen again (no im not saying s***y, its not me if i do lol). Ive been a pest at times to the community, but its all good fun i hope. I try to be straight to the point, and any offence taken... well... ..... you get the jist. Been fun chatting with you all... but ill be on here less and less. If the time does come, and i get accepted... ill say my final goodbyes... this is just.... a preliminary byebye. Stay frosty. Stay sharp. Eat a cookie but dont.... fart. Be all you can be... just dont throw around the....... pee...... eat a fruit and smell like beetroot... but never forget that shining light......... for he was the mighty Sunnyknight. 1

Loads to be done yet, but i pray and hope all goes well. Good luck and all the best. It is a long journey. Please check in from time to time and let us know how it's going.

X-13 Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Ive been semi accepted by the best commercial training agency in the world to be a commercial pilot. Someone I know from another forum became a pilot, apparently it's really hard... And surprisingly boring. All I'm imagining now is a 747 with "$wag" on the side and money trails instead of jet stream.
ButterflyMoon Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Fly high @Sunnyknight reach for the sky. Grab your dream and run with it we are only here the once
Dos_Box Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Best of luck, and I really do mean that. I have an old army friend who was a helicopter pilot in the army and now flies commercial air liners. When I asked him how he did it, he said (words to the effect of) 'You take out a 100k loan then lock yourself away from you friends and family for a year'. Apparently it's very intense.
abillybob Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Good luck buddy. Been nice having you around, massive well done that's a big achievement. Wish you all the best for the future. 😊
CAM Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 If you get accepted, let us know how it goes and keep in touch! Give some of us office slaves some hope.
sonofsanta Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I hope the planes you fly are all powered by Intel. Can you SLI jet engines? I assume, as well, you're only going to fly 787s or other top-end brand new planes - no point in being cheap after all. Seriously, though, good luck - I can't imagine it's going to be easy...
TechMonkey Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Don't be a stranger! Good luck. That was on my list of career choices.
tommej Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I have a buddy who's been a commercial pilot for a while now - his facebook pictures make me so jealous! My office doesn't even have windows!! Good luck! http://i.imgur.com/uttfE4W.jpg 1
