  1. I don't know about price but what about WD 8TB MY CLOUD PRO SERIES PR4100
  2. Ya I'm pretty sure those don't play nice with 10 and are tricky with 7
  3. I've seen this when it was hanging on loading the pdf architect plugin. Removed that and it was zooming
  4. Hear Hear ^ |
  5. Hello, Is there anyway for the google apps website to auto login with my windows credentials? We have a special google apps splash page login and it would great if students on domain machines could go there and have it auto login.

  7. Finally figured it out. Turns out it was a permissions issue where it wouldn't mount to the root of their share but would map to sub folders. Changed the permissions and now it mounts the home directory correctly and has the link in the dock working
  8. You might be surprised.. It's happened at least once.
  9. Okay so maybe I was light on the information. Here's what I know (little) In AD the home folder is \\ccrsb-01\Schools\Students_Home\HHS\thhsstu From my understanding in OSX ( This machine is running 10.10) it takes your home directory and links to it in the dock. On this machine it shows up as a question mark. If I manually connect to \\ccrsb-01\Schools\Students_Home\HHS\thhsstu it doesn't work but going to //ccrsb-01/Schools/Students_Home/HHS/thhsstu lets me see all the home directory files. Ya about that force local home directory...... Just checked and my eyes were skipping over the fact that it was checked. Possibly because it was greyed out. Looking at that now.
  10. Hello, It looks like when I bind my macs to active directory ( windows server 2012 r2) it is not correctly reading their home directory location. Does anyone know if you need to specify it in a certain place/way for it to map correctly?
  11. Have you tried updating the smartboards firmware. I find old versions cause random issues occasionally.
  12. There is a setting buried in the smart notebook program that disables touch on the smart boards. That may be worth checking out
  13. I'm about to have a go at this in our environment. Here goes nothing.
  14. The key step I was missing (among other things) was that I needed to prestage the computer in active directory first I've now got it working on 10.9
  15. Do I have to install anything server side for them to get on the domain? My machines give me a 5200 error about not finding the authentication server
