TechieWils Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 40 to 50 quid an hour is your average really and to be careful and done right an hour tops. My guy is £80 an hour but thats serius black and grey work for the whole arm took 6 hours with about an hour left to do but I've been lazy getting it sorted. Make sure you write down exactly what you want, upper/ lower case and spelling and have him sign to say he understands and you sign you accept its spelling. Not sure on how legally binding it is but it just means you both accept that's how it's spelt and makes the blame game easier afterwards if a mistake is made.
connor_ict Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Depends where you go, ive got a sleeve so they charged me by the hour but other small pieces they normally just charge by the design and how long it will take, some places are more expensive than others but you get what you pay for I recommend Vivid Ink and Karma collective 2 brilliant studios with amazing artists 1
davyboi Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Just make sure you go to a good studio as people say (and I know from bitter experience) you get what you pay for! Tip. if they can fit you in straight away they probably aren't that good! There is a guy in the town I live who has won many awards for his work and he is currently taking appointments for September!
