Rackstudsâ„¢

Anyone seen these? Someone put them on to me yesterday and they look great. They are a replacement to cagenuts, easier to put in and take out and they have the pokey out bit mounted first so means you are left holding a switch while someone fumbles the screws. My worry was if they could hold the weight but their figures are impressive.

Anyone using?

My DL380p's weigh a ton. I'm not sure about mounting them in a cab with these small plastic things.

Not sure about hanging our huge core swiches of these but an what an invention. No more sliced hands while trying to remove cage nuts or dropping your last cage nut into a place of no return while fixing into racks :cheer2:

Will make 1-2 u switches a lot safer because you will be able support with one hand without fear of the switch dropping away completely when you remove the last screw from the cage nut.

Pull out value at 92Kgs and shear value at 156 Kg I'd say your rake would buckle before these!

Rackstuds – Certification

They do 2 sizes to take account for slight differences but I've never found cage nuts to be all that reliable about always fitting!!

I'm going to get a couple of packs for our remount this Easter. I'll see how it goes.
