HarryMonkey Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 A quick plug here for my local camera club's exhibition on the outskirts of Bedford (MK side). If you're in the area call in, it's free and there are some excellent images on show, around 60 in all. There's a cafe there too.
jthompson Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Ooh. Not far from me. I might stick my head in if I'm over that way. 1
Popular Post MrKJLS Posted July 7, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 7, 2019 I got to go to London Pride yesterday, what experience it was! You can see the full album here: https://photos.kieransaul.co.uk/index.php?/category/18 Below are some of my favorites! 6

smurfomatic Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 On my brief holiday to Gorleston On Sea, landscape photography not normally my thing! 2
HarryMonkey Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 That first scene would have been ideal for a long exposure shot.
smurfomatic Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 That first scene would have been ideal for a long exposure shot. I agree, but the tide was coming in and I still had a mile of beach to walk! 2
JATSO Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 As its holiday pics time of year here some of my efforts taken on my phone. Jersey and a stopover in Liverpool this year, who knows where next? For those that have never been to Jersey I would recommend it as a couple, individual or family, plenty to see and do. Great weather this time of year. 2
enjay Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 On my brief holiday to Gorleston On Sea, landscape photography not normally my thing! I love number 3, the contrast between man-made and natural walls on opposing sides is really good. 1

superatticman Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 (edited) Some photographs from the mighty Wealdstone FC in action. Sports photography is a fairly exclusive skill set. Post processing is usually minimal but hand to eye coordination a must. Fairly pleased with my results from moderate 2nd hand 'home user' equipment. Nikon D5100 and Nikon 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 lens. Might treat myself to a Nikon 70-200 F4 which is very sharp throughout its range. Edited August 15, 2019 by superatticman 3

Andrew_C Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 Playing with a macro ring for the first time... All natural - no 'shopping.
JATSO Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 One of the few sunsets I caught in Jersey at La Corbiere.

Yes that's a great lens by all accounts. Does appear that Tamron and Sigma are seriously breathing down the necks of Nikon now with a 'G2' and 'Sport' 70-200 F2.8 lens of which are around half the price but according to reviews optically equal. The only risk with these two lenses is not have full functionality with Nikon bodies. Often 90% of functions will work perfectly but extensive in depth testing may reveal that a certain shooting mode may cause a lens malfunction with specific bodies.

Tamron have had incredible glass for years, I use vintage Tamron glass for the bulk of my photography!
bald_pig Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 The HDR software I posted previously has come up for free again, this time by the makers themselves: https://skylum.com/fr/l/komputerswiat 2
