The first person to correctly guess how many socks Col pilfers during the video (Colin will be the adjudicator on this) wins a bonus entry!

I'm going to say 5 pairs of socks so one for each toe!

10 socks! Task was how many SOCKS not PAIRS of socks. I win!

Colin doesn't steal any socks as they are prizes and needed. He simply hides them for a brief period of time before placing them gently back in the box inside their cellophane packets.

Okay the official word from Colin is that he secreted 5 PAIRS of socks (we're not counting the visible ones in his lap).

 

Bonus entries go to:

@MikeGreen for being the first to give us the answer we were looking for. @StevieM for being the first pedant to give the truly correct answer (we better watch our wording next time!) @LeightonJames for looking through the 4th wall and seeing the truth of it. Of course he doesn't actually steal anything!

What's all this about sitting in the staffroom? You need to drink coffee at your desk and eat donuts -nom nom nom.

One of the children a few years ago asked me if I was allowed in the staff room as I wasn't a teacher!

Firstly, damn you I was doing well this morning having resisted temptation to have a starbucks/mcdonalds/subway on my way into work this morning. I now CRAVE donuts.

 

Secondly, no one has ever said i can't go in the staff room, but i've had that feeling on more than one occasion.

It wasn't me - @StevieM started it in post #273

 

I know what you mean about the staff room in some schools, but I've been here longer than half the staff at this school so I think they should be asking me if they can come in! :)
