  1. Hi, would be interested in them if there'es any left. I will PM you.
  2. Yay! Amazing tool!
  3. I used to use Backup Assist for file level backups. Nice bit of software. Used to use Microsoft DPM but had more trouble than anything with it. We currently use VEEAM but not quickest to do a file level restore, in fact it takes ages! Fine for VM backups but I wouldn't have personally chosen it for file level protection.
  4. Thanks to @gomalley and @Arthur http://www.crusaderav.co.uk/robust-headphone-and-microphone-with-2-x-3-5-mm/p-10015 http://www.crusaderav.co.uk/robust-headphone-microphone-for-tablet-4-pole-plug/p-10016
  5. I would definitely recommend PaperCut. I had it installed at a previous school and I managed to reduce printing costs dramatically along with reducing the amount of classroom printers from 38 to 22. Forcing larger jobs to the MFDs rather than the classroom laser printers. (Staff are lazy!) Head Teacher loved the reporting feature and regularly pulled up staff and their printing and wastage.
  6. Had loads of Broadleaf's in the past at a previous school. Great PCs, reliable and quality parts. Staff loved them as they have a small desk footprint. Had a few laptops as well as the Nano's. Can't fault them. Colin is a great guy - can't do enough for you, in fact the company as a whole are a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely buy again if I was in the position to do so.
  7. We have a few toners and drum units we are offering for free to anyone who can collect. The printer no longer works and is not economical to repair. Thought they may be of use to someone? Please message for more information. Located in Birmingham. OKI C8600/C8800 Toners and Drums: (some original, some re-manufactured) Toners: 1x Magenta 1x Yellow Drums: 3x Black 2x Yellow 3x Cyan 2x Magenta
  8. I've fitted one of these in my downstairs bathroom. Connected a Airport express to it via jack lead (Airport express is in dining room adjacent). I can listen to FM, or airplay music from spotify via my iphone. Works great. https://www.keene.co.uk/audio/amplifiers/in-wall-amp-only/keene-bluetooth-in-wall-digital-amplifier-excludes-power-supply-grey.html Alternatively, I have mounted 2x Sonos Play One's in two corners of the Kitchen. The sound on those is incredible.
  9. Hi @david_1152 Our librarian is at the end of her tether with MLS. We are interested in AccessIT and we are are also in Birmingham and interested in a demo. I will PM you.
  10. @jcs808 worth looking at maybe if we're moving to Google. There's also a Chromebook filtering service.
  11. We need some of the 3.5" blanking plates for the same model. Who did you speak to at Novatech - we've tried before. Thanks.
  12. I think I still have one in the attic - probably still got 1 bar battery left on it!
  13. Friday crew. 6.30 sounds good. Are people planning on eating?
  14. Looking good! See you Friday.
  15. I'm up for this on Friday.
  16. Yes that's it but think they're just taking the mikey with that price! Seen on ebay for around a tenner.
  17. Someone has walked off with our sports hall projector remote and we are currently using a long pole to turn it on and off. (Not ideal) Does anyone have one of these lurking around? It's that high up, can't work out what model it is but guessing either a SANYO SL20, SU50 or XE20. The remote looks like this anyway! Anyone have one they could send me? Would really appreciate it! It's quite an old projector I know. Thanks in advance! Jon
  18. It is possible (I think), I'm sure I got it working when I used Lightspeed. Their telephone support is excellent, helped me a few times when trying to do things.
  19. Hi Katharine, Interested in this, never played with a Raspberry Pi before although I have been meaning to buy one to play with.
  20. No problem at all. Have fun!
  21. Think there's one screw at the back behind possibly a little clear plastic cover. Then, the top slides off to the front. The front pane (or top half of front panel) l I think it part of the side panel so will come off together. (I think, it's been a while since we had them)
  22. See you guys on the Friday. @VeryPC_Colin_M looks like we're going to miss each other!
  23. Which one exactly, there's a few variations i think. Got a photo? I've stripped and replaced parts in a few, they're quite tight inside. Especially the power supplies in the AIO's.
  24. Get a terra clean.
