Now I know you are gagging to read the small print, so cast your eyes downward at the rest of this post for some riveting rules based info (actually, everyone should read this so you all know the score going in): Entries are now being taken by PM to the @VeryPC EduGeek account. Entries will be taken at midnight on Thursday 30th October 2014, after which no more entries will be taken. SOCKtober is open to all EduGeek members who can provide a UK mailing address. SOCKtober is not open to present or past VeryPC employees, suppliers, resellers, associates, partners or the friends or family members of such. Entrants must provide their professional contact details: name, email, job title and work place address. PLEASE SPECIFY SOCK SIZE REG (8-11 mens UK) or SMALL (7 mens UK or less). Prizes and freebies will only be shipped to UK addresses. Every day in October we will give away a prize to one of our SOCKtober competition entrants whose EduGeek name will be drawn and announced via YouTube video embedded in the competition thread (this thread) on EduGeek. Drawn tickets WILL NOT be replaced until the final day of the month (though bonus entries may become available - see below). No draws will be made at weekends, so instead each Friday (except 31st October) we will do a TRIPLE DRAW representing that Friday and the following Saturday and Sunday. The daily prize will be a cosy break kit consisting of VeryPC Intel slipper socks and VeryPC mug. On Friday 10th October we will do the 1st fortnightly top prize draw. The winner for that Friday will receive an Echo Tablet. On Friday 24th October we will do the 2nd fortnightly top prize draw. The winner for that Friday will receive a Thinbook Baytrail. Each TRIPLE draw will be done in reverse order so the Friday fortnightly top prize winner will be drawn last on those days. After the penultimate draw on Thursday 30th October all drawn tickets will be replaced in preparation for the final draw. On Friday 31st we will draw the winner of the star prize, a Terra 1160 2-in-1 device. There may be occasional bonus prizes and opportunities for extra entries on an ad hoc basis throughout October 2014 (to a maximum of 3 entries total). Bonus prize/entry opportunities and conditions will be announced in the competition thread (this thread) on EduGeek OR in the daily videos. To qualify for bonus entries or prizes you must already be an entrant in SOCKtober 2014. Other conditions for bonus entries or prizes will be declared along with the bonus opportunity announcement. So it begins. Enter now folks to maximise your chance of being a winner! Al, Merry Mister Marketing for VeryPC 22

hardtailstar Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 (edited) im in with regular socks.... you have my details Just a question..... you said this "Drawn tickets WILL NOT be replaced until the final day of the month (though bonus entries may become available - see below)" Does that mean if we are drawn out for a daily sock prize with no bonus entries we will not be put in for the fortnightly prizes but just the star prize draw? But if we have bonus entries maxed to three we will still be in the fortnightly draw as names still in hat/chassis? Also will all three entries be put in for the star prize? Edit @VeryPC I thought Id tag you incase the question gets lost in the thread! Edited September 22, 2014 by hardtailstar

localzuk Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I need a new pair of socks. My current pair is looking a bit old...
sonofsanta Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Do we really need to PM you all our details again? You have me on file, I'm sure! I'm a size 12 as well, and probably not the only Big Foot in the thread... so if you decide to do a large size, I'll have them please, otherwise I'll just squeeze my feet into the regulars like an ugly stepsister seeking to impress her Prince Charming. You're my Prince Charming in this analogy, Al. And in my heart <3 1
