The ICT Room got demolished, but now I have a room. A room with WALLS! But it's occurred to me how bare the walls are.

The problem is that one wall is a massive window looking out into the corridor where parents queue and kids work, so no fun things could go on the huge wall facing it...

But I was thinking some subtle, artistic and tech-related posters could really tie the place together. Any suggestions? I could probably put around 3 or 4 up next time I get paid.

I don't mind where they're from, or if they're just images large enough I could get them printed and framed myself.

^ I'm really fond of this, or possibly the Sally Ride one. (I'm naming my motorbike Sally Ride, too...)

I've got this random found piece and a Rasberry Pi poster. I get kids to make me stuff, but it is of poor quality! I need to get more stuff for my walls. Thinking tat from home bargains and such like places.

EDIT - just re-read OP. Maybe not those in view of parents.

And actually Joanne's painting above is great.

Demotivationals. Definitely. Always demotivationals. Nothing else so accurately encapsulates the cynical humour of a techie.

My 'part' of the office is bare because I have two huge screens mounted on 'my' chunk of wall that monitor the network status, traffic, server room temps, AV, etc. So I have not much room for posters. I do, however, have a winged goomba blu-tacked to the top of my screen :D My little desk mascot.

One of our other guys has a large-ish pin board, though. And upon that are several demotivationals, the Banana Radiation Dose Chart and a few XKCD's (mixed in with some actual important stuff).. Did used to have the Tesco Value one but it's gone missing.

finally got round to looking at that.

Saved and set as monitor 4.

It's awesome, isn't it? I think I'm definitely going to get that, and print out a bunch of xkcd stuff to pin to my "do this do it now don't forget" board.

Also is there a source on that Tesco one? I flippin' love those.

I think you've got Psychic Cat anyway, haven't you? Seen it on your wall in past photos. Pipe up if not and I'll re-upload to this thread, easier than hunting down the original post.

I also have the following on my wall:

Tech Support Cheat Sheet (because every office needs an xkcd, by law)

Problem Solving Flowchart:

Who's the robot that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

We have the Tesco Motivational Poster in the office as well; it's stuck up in front of the technicians though, because I Am A Good People Manager.

That would be for speaking it, but the original looks more like Jeopardy.

Both are valid, it just depends on how you want to layout the joke.

Also, curse this thread... I have too many images I want to use now. [Currently rocking Grace Hopper, Gurren Lagaan core drill, Gurren Lagaan Simon and "Glorious PC Gaming Master Race" from the PC gaming thread as my desktop wallpapers.]
