Ideally I like to setup people's devices so that I don't have to give the password out & risking pupils finding it out, however this isn't always the case. A

abillybob Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Full coverage and I set it up on each machine, I don't mind staff having the Wi-Fi password try not to let the children have it just yet, I want to create a Guest SSID so that guests can only access the internet and not the internal network but county won't give me control, Why you ask? No idea.

DCUK6 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Now have the whole site covered with 21 Unifi UAP's. Cant fault them. Put them in few weeks ago. Just upgrading them all. Click the roll update button and its great watching them go down one at a time to update and watching which AP the computers move to. I need to get a life I know. So much better than changing setting on each point manually. 2

Just to add, we have quite good coverage in our main buildings and boarding houses but they are self managed plus we manually setup students own devices (currently about 300 units)
