Cheers, I did look at the image options and saw the "link image" option but I am sure this would lead to missing images when the documents are copied to an alternate location, so not really a solution. Is the info below the RTF behaviour you mention? I wonder if there is a way to not include the WMF? Maybe that would help with the file size? Might introduce other issues though. Thanks again.

Hi, Thank you again for this very useful software! We have recently had issues with ExamWritePad "locking up". This is due to the students inserting several largish images in the document, and then the auto-save function taking to long time to save the file. In the testing we noticed that if we insert a 2Mb file into the document, the save file becomes just over 4Mb. A 4Mb image generates a 8Mb file. We consistently get files that are approximately double the embedded image sizes. Is this expected behaviour? The "lock up" issue happens most obviously on the largest files so we are keen to keep the files as small as possible. We have also been asked if the image chooser file dialogue can just see all image types rather than having to choose jpeg or png etc. Thanks again Box_l

Yes, you will need an P1 or an agreement that includes password writeback.

Hi @ass17, We have a lot of users using the key combination CTRL-B to bold their text. Lots of them are missing the B and hitting the N. This causes no end of confusion when they get a new (empty) document. Is there a way of disabling the CTRL-N combination in EWP? Thanks BoX

I think see what it is. You have to add the outline to the table afterwards. I thought the grey lines were the outlines. I am just used to the way Word works, which is to have the lines on by default. ExamWritePad appears to have them off by default. I can get the same results as you, I just have to add them after. Looking forward to the new export path too. Thank you.

Hi @ass17, Thank you again for all your work. The pictures are showing consistently now. Tables still come out with no borders though? Please may we have the option to choose the location of the exported .DOCX, or set a default path in the same way as the save location? Best regards Box_l

Microsoft Wireless Adapters - Anyone use them?

They work great for us, but as mentioned, there is no security that i have found, as you might find in AirPlay or others. This has not caused an issue yet.... -
Thank you for doing the testing, I can replicate your results with the wrapping. It works really well when this is set to embed. Best of luck.

First thing tomorrow. Thank you.

Hi @ass17, Thank you for the updated version. Is the export to docx able to deal with pictures and tables? I ask because we get this EamWritePad on the left and the Exported .docx file on the left Regards Box

@jslate1980 We had set our chrome policy to force install the extension, to allow the extension, (we block all except whitelisted ones), and to allow the camera for the testing urls. Without the popup asking for access to the camera the set would not progress. Adding to this section of the logging and blocking policy allowed us to get the popup and then all was well. Allow the following IP addresses to bypass the SSL Filter |mettl.com|mercermettl.com Cheers Box

We had to add an exclusion in Senso.cloud logging and filtering policy to get the "allow webcam" popup to work.

Cool, I presumed he was subscribed to his own thread too. Cheers tho'
