mac_shinobi Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) I just did a google image search of his avatar and it brings up some posts on google from things he has said on edugeek When I did the image search I had used the wrong version of the picture so it didn't bring the posts up !! you can find the correct image via google images --> save this, drag and drop the saved image onto google images and then edit the text in the search field so that it only searches the edugeek site so for the danbo robot avatar you leave the preview of the image and the text danbo robot in the search text field and after the danbo robot text put a space and site: www . edugeek . net excluding the spaces between the dots etc so it searches the edugeek site so you get something like below : I knew about being able to use images to search - totally not on the ball today, think I need a strong cuppa and some other things With no reply - Am thinking @VeryPC are trying to think of another way of doing this guess the winner ? Advanced search skills are rapidly becoming one of the most useful in this age of mahooosive datas (well, I say 'useful' though that may not strictly apply when referring to a piccy of a cardboard robot and a bonus competition entry but you take my meaning...) I did't know the little guy's name was 'Danbo' until I tried a vanilla Google search by image myself. Discovered his meme page (it's very innocent, but there is one swear on the page): http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/danbo ...and one of the tribute images. We don't tend to 'translate' the in video content to things like winner announcements and pictures because we want to encourage you to view the vids as much as possible. Next time we get a tough one like today that no-one can get after a couple of hours, we'll post the pic to help out the people who cannot watch the vids during the day. Al 1
